Kiboko Safaris is a leading safari company in Tanzania and Kenya. We are committed to responsible tourism and to supporting the communities and wildlife in the areas where we operate.
One of the most serious challenges facing these communities is human-carnivore conflict. This is when wild animals, such as lions, leopards, and elephants, come into conflict with people, often resulting in livestock being killed or people being injured.
Human-carnivore conflict is a complex issue with no easy solutions. However, there are a number of organizations working to mitigate this conflict and to protect both people and wildlife.
Kiboko Safaris would like to support these organizations by donating a portion of our profits to their work. We believe that this is a small but important way that we can help to make a difference.
There are a number of benefits to supporting human-carnivore conflict mitigation organizations.
These organizations work to:
Reduce the number of livestock being killed by wild animals
Protect people from being injured or killed by wild animals
Build awareness of the issue of human-carnivore conflict
Promote coexistence between people and wildlife
How to Support
Kiboko Safaris would like to raise $10,000 to support human-carnivore conflict mitigation organizations. We will donate 3% of our profits from all safaris booked in 2023 to this cause. We will also be running a fundraising campaign on our website and social media channels. We will be offering a number of incentives to people who donate, such as discounts on future safaris and exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences.
We believe that this is a worthwhile cause and we hope that you will join us in supporting it. Your donation will help to make a real difference to the lives of people and wildlife in Tanzania and Kenya.
